My Friends, I've come to the conclusion that we're being too hard on Messrs. Bush & McCain, and we've gotten too practiced in our half-empty vision of America. In fact, I don't think we give them enough credit.
No, really. Also.
Any pre-programmed supporter of the Jedi Mind Trick Trickle Down Theory of Awesome Economics will tell you, it takes a while for all that money to actually trickle down from patriotic Maverick-Americans like Donald Trump. Y'know, Reagan's policies didn't really take effect until the 90s, doggonit, and Clinton's policies didn't really take effect until about 2004.
And but so, Bush will be responsible for any job creation (if it occurs) at any time in the next ten years! Here's why....
There have been many industries that have seen explosive growth in the last eight years, such as, also....
- the investigative journalism industry
- the documentary film industry (lots to cover!)
- the physicians (non-birth control) industry
- the Arabic translator industry (non-homosexual)
- the pawn shop industry
- the repo man industry
- the outdoor signage industry (lots of banks changing hands these days, dontcha know)
- banks have many openings for rehabbing foreclosed homes (even if they seem to be having a bit of trouble paying anybody to do it....)
- the financial industry (whoops! heh, um....never mind. Also.)
- the insurance claim denier investigator industry
- the disaster recovery industry
- the Former Bush Administration Official Speaking Out talk show circuit
- the climatology industry
- the prison industry
- the gulag industry
- the righteously outraged blogger industry (no shit)
- the airport screener/shoe-checker/liquids-preventer kabuki industry
- the alcohol industry (for fucking obvious reasons)
- and, last but definitely not least, the Army's always hiring....
That's an awful lot of job creatin!
Kossacks, friends, countrymen--we have done these men of honor a great disservice with our petty criticisms! They are bold pioneers, visionaries whose genius will not be recognized for years--nay, decades! &c.
OK, I can't keep a straight face any more, uncle....anybody got any more growth industries?
